|Job Fair

Training placement and Entrepreneur cell of Rajah Serfoji Government College and District Employment Office conducted the job fair on 09.02.2019, 13.07.2019, 08.02.2020. In this job fair nearly thousands of candidates actively participated and got placed in various companies including Eureka Forbes, LIC of India, Manaporam Finance Private Limited and various sectors etc… They conducted group discussions, Technical interview and HR interview. In this three job fairs 24500 candidates participated and 8630 candidates got placed. College Principal Dr. V. Senthamil Selvi initiated the programme organized by the Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell. The Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell Co – Ordinator Dr. S. Sakthivel and the members of the cell Prof. V. Rajam, Prof. T. Umamaheshwari, Dr. T. Elanchezhian, and Dr. R. Swaminathan made all the necessary arrangements.

|Entrepreneurship programme

The “Student Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” held on 26.09.2018 organized by Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute Government of Tamil Nadu and Rajah Serfoji Govt College (autonomous) and The “Entrepreneurship Development Programme – 2018” which was organized by Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell, Rajah Serfoji Govt College (Autonomous) held from 29.08.2018 to 01.09.2018. The Principal Dr. V. Senthamil Selvi initiated the Awareness programme and Dr. S. Veera Rethina Murugan reported the activities conducted by the Entrepreneur cell. The Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell Co – Ordinator Dr. S. Sakthivel and the members of the cell Prof. V. Rajam, Prof. T. Umamaheshwari, Dr. T. Elanchezhian, and Dr. R. Swaminathan made all the necessary arrangements for the Entrepreneurship programme.

|Skill Development Programme

The BSNL Broad Band Technician programme and The Digital Still Photography programme, NFDC was organized by Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell, Rajah Serfoji Govt College (Autonomous), Thanjavur held from 17.12.2019 to 10.03.2020. In this skill development programme students were given technical training regarding telecommunication, technician, professional photography, handling of digital cameras, wedding photography etc… The Web Designing programme, ICT Academy was organized by Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell, Rajah Serfoji Govt College (Autonomous), Thanjavur held from 23.12.2019 to 12.03.2020. In this programme basic skills such as Introduction to Web designing, Introduction to HTML, JavaScript, file handling, working with database and forms, Introduction to Photoshop etc…. were trained to the students. The Principal Dr. V. Senthamil Selvi initiated the skill programme and the certificates were issued to the students. The Training Placement and Entrepreneur Cell Co – Ordinator Dr. S. Sakthivel and the members of the cell Prof. V. Rajam, Prof. T. Umamaheshwari, Dr. T. Elanchezhian, and Dr. R. Swaminathan made all the necessary arrangements for the skill programme.
